Sterling EZ-Cert™ makes it easy to obtain certified checks. There's no need to stand in lines at a bank branch. You don't have to leave your office. You don't even need to call your bank! And you don't need to purchase any software. Everything is done on-line, through Sterling's Internet Banking site. All you need is a computer with Internet access, and Sterling will provide the rest.

How Does it Work?
To use the system, your law firm must bank with Sterling National Bank. When you need a check, log on to our secure website. Request the amount of the check. Sterling National Bank will verify that funds are available in your account for the request. Within an hour, a signed certified check in that amount, complete with your firm's own custom logo, will print out right in your office. We will supply you with the printer and the security check paper. We'll also manage the installation of the printer and train your staff on how to use the system. It's as convenient as having a bank branch right in your office!

Restricted Access to Keep Your Accounts Safe.
The security of your funds is our number one concern. Rest assured that access to your accounts will be held under the tightest restrictions. You will have your own unique login and password to access the Sterling EZ-Cert™ site. The certified check will be transmitted via an encrypted file that can only be decoded by the specific check printer in your office.

You May Receive this Service at No Cost.
The Sterling EZ-Cert™ fee schedules will be discussed with you, in your office at your convenience, by one of our Senior Account Officers. The charges for this service will be determined by the level of service your firm requires. By maintaining appropriate demand deposits in your accounts at Sterling, some or all of these charges may be waived.
